Welcom to the World: My First Post

At last! I have finally taken the plunge and created my own blog. Well, hmm... Now that I've finally made it, I'm at a complete and utter loss as to what to post! I suppose I'll begin with the basics. My name is Nora. I am about to embark upon that heady adventure we call university and, given the nature of this blog, it will be no surprise to hear that I will be majoring in history. I've spent about two years (perhaps more) avidly following every history blog I can find, and dreaming of the world that they describe. I am a self proclaimed anachronist, but if you don't know what that is, I can promise you there will be a post about it. So what is my favorite time period? Ah that answer is quite easy: the eighteenth century. All things 1700's hold my attention like nothing else and leave me with a painful longing for the time now so long gone. And each new discovery only whets my appetite more! Wow, this has not been at all an informative post, but bear with me good people, for the content of my posts will indeed improve with time.
